The Role of Current Transducers in Welding
Resistance welding and plasma arc welding require large amounts of current. At this time, the role of the current transducer is important. If we can know “how much high current can be transmitted with high quality”, it will be possible to weld strong and lasting.
In resistance welding, heat is generated by the contact resistance of the joint that sends a large current to the weld, but after heating the joint to a molten state, it is welded by pressing with mechanical pressure. Simply put, it is a kind of pressure welding that uses electricity.
